On November 15, 2017 the principals of Whitney Capital Company, LLC and Southport Financial Services closed the sale of Canyon Creek, Coronado and Desert View Apartments, three Low Income Housing Tax Credit properties totaling 98 units. The principals of Whitney Capital Company, LLC and Southport Financial Services originally developed these three Coolidge, Arizona properties in the late 1990’s.
On August 30, 2017 Whitney Capital Company, L.L.C. refinanced Glendale at the Mansion, a 140 unit property in Independence, MO with a HUD loan originated by Gershman Mortgage.
On August 24, 2017, the principals of Whitney Capital Company, L.L.C. acquired Pointe 400 Luxury Apartments, a 118 unit high rise apartment property in downtown St. Louis, MO. The historic building was originally built in 1970 and converted to apartments in 2006. The acquisition was financed with an assumed HUD loan and 1031 equity.
On July 14, 2017 Whitney Capital Company, L.L.C. sold Walgreens Drug Store, a 15,000 square foot retail store in Suffolk, VA brokered by The Stan Johnson Company.
On May 8, 2017 Whitney Capital Company, L.L.C. sold CVS Distribution Center, a 500,000 square foot distribution center in Fredericksburg, VA brokered by The Stan Johnson Company.
On January 11, 2017, the principals of Whitney Capital Company, L.L.C. acquired The Bridges at Germantown, a 252 unit conventional housing property in Germantown, TN, originally built in 1996. The acquisition was financed with a FNMA loan and investor equity.
